 Getting Pre-Approved

The mortgage pre-approval is the foundation of your home search, with the information you get with your pre-approval you can find the area, price, taxes and insurance that fit the payment you desire.  If those are not factors, it will give you an edge when negotiating. A quick closing in todays rapidly changing market can be worth more than price.

First Time Buyer Tax Credit

The $8,000 tax credit for first-time home buyers and the $6,500 tax credit for repeat home buyers have expired. However, service members who were on official extended duty outside of the United States for at least 90 days between Jan.1, 2009 and May 1, 2010, may qualify for a one-year extension.
